I think it in banana

© Copyright Pip Wilson, 2010

I write it in cherry.
You read it in berry
and like it.

The shame is that cherry
I cannot abide.
What shame you don't taste
what I think or I write.
And berry's a flavour
I do not much like.

How holy would be
our poetical karma
if only I wrote and you read
in banana.

  1. Hello I'm a bellingen born bard who has recently returned home seeking sanctuary from the "slings and arrows". I would like to attend a meeting so I am eligible to post some of my poems and songs. Where do you meet now the Cafe is gone?

  2. Keep watching this space as we announce our next meeting. I believe the next Poetry Night will be at Guru Food on the last Friday of the month. But as that might change, please keep in touch with this site, or other Bello Bards. You are not just eligible, but invited to send poems to this blog. None are rejected except in case of defamation or other serious legal matter. Otherwise, none are edited at all. Please read the first two posts on this blog (at the top) for info on how to submit poetry. Happy writing!
